The brief for the Woodend house was to maximise north light access and capture views to Mount Macedon on the east. The plan has 3 areas: living, sleeping and garage. The garage splits off from the main house space to create a covered entry space and address the street front. The living space and bedrooms are all oriented north to enjoy north sun and engage with the backyard
