A simple wooden box added to a 1910 Victorian creates a larger open living space with a close connection to the backyard. A large north facing window seat soaks in the sun and provides a secondary sitting space in the cosy kitchen / dining/ lounge room.
The building uses a raw material palette of Victorian Ash, hoop pine plywood, blackbutt flooring, and formply joinery.
