Set on a gently sloping site, Red Hill is a split-level house under a single roof plane. Each level sits flush with the landscape. The upper level contains the master suite, the central level contains the living areas, and the lower contains the kids bedrooms and rumpus room. Constructed from a simple palette of brick, concrete and timber – the design seeks to create an intimate connection with its semi-rural, informal context.
